薛颖佳，钢琴

薛颖佳是当今中国最具实力，独奏、协奏曲及室内乐曲目涉猎最广泛的钢琴家之一。2004年获巴黎斯克里亚宾国际钢琴大赛第一名。除此之外，薛颖佳还曾在诸多比赛中屡获殊荣：2003年获比利时杜莫帝耶国际钢琴比赛第二名；2005年获比利时YAMAHA国际钢琴比赛唯一大奖。

他在欧美各地的巡回演出中也获得极高的声誉。曾在比利时、法国、意大利、荷兰、德国、瑞士、加拿大等演出钢琴独奏会以及室内乐音乐会，并经常受邀在各大知名国际音乐节上演出，包括意大利米兰都灵九月国际音乐节、 法国阿尔克国际音乐节、瑞士克朗·蒙塔拿国际钢琴艺术节、德国德累斯顿莫里兹堡国际室内乐音乐节、加拿大奥佛国际钢琴艺术节以及加拿大渥太华国际室内乐音乐节。

此外，他还受邀和比利时图尔奈交响乐团、巴黎室内乐团、北京交响乐团、上海爱乐乐团、深圳交响乐团、苏州交响乐团、长沙交响乐团、武汉爱乐乐团、厦门爱乐乐团、青岛交响乐团等合作演出，合作过的中外指挥家包括康拉德·凡·纳尔芬、克里斯蒂安·埃瓦尔德、菲利普·杰拉德、维克多·雨果·托罗、陈燮阳、汤沐海、谭利华、张国勇、胡咏言、傅人长、夏小汤、 张亮等。

在2009年和2010年，薛颖佳受邀在意大利米兰和都灵举行纪念海顿逝世200周年和肖邦诞辰200周年的钢琴独奏会。归国后，他的演奏足迹遍布国内各大剧院，包括国家大剧院、北京中山音乐堂、捷豹上海交响音乐厅、上海音乐厅、上海大剧院、上海东方艺术中心、广州星海音乐厅、深圳音乐厅等。

2006年，他作为唯一的中国钢琴家受日本NHK电视台邀请，录制了电视节目《超级钢琴大师班系列》，该节目DVD已发行。2020年，他的 独奏会现场录音，后由中国唱片集团发行名为《纪念贝多芬诞辰250周年》的个人专辑，受到业界广泛赞誉。2021年，他受邀与指挥家谭利华执棒的北京交响乐团，于中国国家大剧院世界首演了作曲家郭文景为2022北京冬奥会特别创作的《C大调第一钢琴协奏曲“海坨戴雪”》，演出反响热烈并大获成功，首演现场录音由人民音乐出版社发行。

薛颖佳目前任香港中文大学（深圳）音乐学院钢琴系副教授。曾先后就读于上海音乐学院附中和上海音乐学院。从2005年至2009 年，薛颖佳深造于被称为“钢琴家圣殿”的意大利伊莫拉国际钢琴学院，师从法国钢琴家米歇尔·达尔贝托，加拿大钢琴家路易·洛尔蒂以及俄罗斯钢琴家鲍里斯·彼得鲁尚斯基。

Yingjia Xue, Piano

As one of the most prominent pianist in China, Yingjia Xue holds a large repertoire of solo, concerto and chamber music. In 2003, he won a prize at the International Competition André Dumortier. In 2004, he won the 1^st prize at the Scriabin Competition in Paris. In 2005, he was the 1^st Laureate of the Yamaha Piano Competition in Belgium.

Yingjia Xue has given recitals and chamber music concerts in Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada and etc. He has been invited to play at the most prestigious festivals like MITO SettembreMusica, Festival des Arcs in France, Semaine Musicale de Crans-Montana in Switzerland, Moritzburg Festival in Dresden, Festival d’Orford in Canada and Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival.

He has been invited to play with many orchestras, as La Chapelle Musicale de Tournai, L’Orchestra Ensemble de Paris, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra, Changsha Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra and Qingdao Symphony Orchestra and etc., with conductors as Conrad Van Alphen, Christian Ehwald, Philippe Gérard, Victor Hugo Toro, Xieyang Chen, Muhai Tang, Yongyan Hu, Lihua Tan, Guoyong Zhang, Renchang Fu, Xiaotang Xia and Liang Zhang.

In 2009 and 2010, he was invited to play a recital in Milan and Turin in memory of Haydn and Chopin’s anniversary. After coming back to China, he has been invited to perform in all the major concert halls like the National Center for the Performing Arts, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, Shanghai Symphony Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall and Shenzhen Concert Hall etc.

In 2006 he was invited as the only Chinese pianist by Japanese broadcaster NHK to make the TV program Super Piano Masterclass Series , which has been published officially in DVD. In 2020, he recorded a live recital and then released the solo album titled Commemorating the 250th Anniversary of Beethoven’s Birth, which was published by China Record Corporation and received widespread acclaim. In 2021 he was invited to take part in the world premiere, as the piano soloist, to perform the first piano concerto of Chinese composer Wenjing Guo with Beijing Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Lihua Tan at NCPA. This new concerto is also a commission work composed especially for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and the world premiere was a huge success.

He is currently teaching as Associate Professor at the School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). From 2005 to 2009 he studied in the celebrated Accademia Pianistica “Incontri col Maestro” of Imola with the reputed pianists Louis Lortie, Michel Dalberto and Boris Petrushansky.

Yingjia Xue’s interpretation of Schumann is more coherent and lyrical. In his relaxed performance, he has mastered different levels of intensity and elastic rhythm, and demonstrated Schumann’s strong romantic temperament incisingly and vividly through his delicate description of tone colors. The enduring emotions are deep and strong.
