墨非墨画廊很荣幸地宣布，将于2025年5月31日-2025年6月30日期间呈现孙世伟个展《虚弱的力量》。
从词性的角度，虚弱有一种无力的味道，但在我看来它 是一种力量，一种收的力量，越虚弱，力量感就越强。

以视觉呈现为主导的绘画艺术创作，在逃脱了被艺术传统所赋予的意义、技巧桎梏之后，面临更多的是艺术家精神世界探索的指向问题。隐世般远离虚浮世界的艺术家孙世伟先生的创作指向，给人直观的感受是语焉不详的。孙世伟先生作品中大面积色调铺陈下弥漫的是 一种专属的情绪，色调之下是创作者作为语言符号的各种宽线、残线、碎点、圆等等几何造型，其中隐匿着字、图、形更加烘托了画面的深藏的意味深长。
与其说艺术创作独特性是一种无中生有的过程，不如理解其为个体独立思想的差异化体现，其内核实质交融着每位艺术家修为、思索 与情绪的线索，而艺术表现形式则成为思想实质的外延，张扬抑或内敛的表现都不会真正成为作品的精神实质，个性化的外延与内核结合 的最终呈现则为观者带来了更加讳莫如深的艺术体验。诚如艺术家孙世伟所说：“我所体验的无力感不是对画面问题无法解决的无可奈何，而是一种精神上的感应，具体的说，它不是站在悲悯或人文关怀的角度，不是感动，也不是警世，更不是改变，而是把这种体验安放在自我精神诉求与内省的位置上，这就像有人说的那样："只对自己负责，不发问、不声明”。创作的目的仅仅停留在自身的体验而已”。 比之摄人魂魄的惊鸿一瞥，晦涩冷峻的凝神思考虽与这亢奋的世界格格不入，而时间沉淀出的情绪和生命意志，却有着内化的视觉张力和更深刻的感染力。
From a grammatical perspective, "weakness" carries a sense of powerlessness. Yet to me, it is a form of strength--a strength of contraction. The weaker it appears, the stronger the sense of power becomes.In the realm of visual-dominant painting, once freed from the constraints imposed by artistic tradition--its meanings and techniques--the focus shifts toward the inner exploration of the artist's spiritual world. The direction of Sun Shiwei's work, who lives in a kind of seclusion away from the superficial world, gives viewers an intuitive feeling of ambiguity and mystery. His paintings are pervaded by a unique emotional atmosphere, conveyed through vast expanses of layered color. Beneath these colors lie wide strokes, broken lines, scattered dots, circles, and other geometric forms--elements that serve as linguistic symbols. Hidden within them are characters, images, and forms that deepen the layered meaning of the canvas. Rather than viewing artistic originality as an act of conjuring something from nothing, it may be better understood as an expression of the individual's distinct way of thinking. At its core, each work contains the threads of the artist's cultivation, contemplation, and emotion. The artistic form then becomes an extension of this internal essence. Whether the expression is bold or restrained, it does not define the true spiritual substance of the work. The final presentation--formed by the union of individualized outward form and internal depth--offers the viewer a more enigmatic and elusive artistic experience. As the artist Sun Shiwei puts it: "The sense of powerlessness I experience is not a helplessness in solving compositional issues, but a kind of spiritual resonance. Specifically, it does not arise from a perspective of compassion or humanistic concern--it is not about being moved, or warning others, or enacting change. Rather, it is a placement of this experience within one's own spiritual inquiry and introspection. It's like someone once said: 'Only responsible for oneself, no questions asked, no statements made.' The purpose of creation rests solely in personal experience."Compared with those striking, soul-stirring flashes of brilliance, Sun's obscure and austere contemplation may seem at odds with this feverish world. Yet the emotions and will refined over time possess a visual tension and a deeper, more enduring resonance.
