墨非墨画廊很荣幸地宣布，将于2025年7月19日-2025年8月19日期间呈现王索源个展《回响》。
旅法艺术家王索源以东方人特有的基因属性活跃于西方文化艺术的高地法国，其碰撞的结果是一种独特的融合体验，一如早期游历海外的先辈艺术家不懈探索一样，王索源没有一味地追求所谓文化冲突裂变所带来的表现认知，而是回归到人类共同的情感、思想、美学认知的终极问题中。
在王索源的作品中我们看到：人类在宇宙中的认知边界——从微观粒子到星际文明，均被包裹在圆形画框中，成为被凝视的“神秘样本”。这些作品通过微观与宏观的视觉同构性，构建了一个有机的蓝色诗性宇宙。每幅作品看似独立，实则共同演绎着生命、能量与物质在混沌中的韵律性存在。
王索源的创作风格兼具东方书写性特质，但他的线条，从来不是简单的描摹或装饰，它既不是“形”也不是“象”，而是一种持久的穿透:穿透时间、穿透记忆、穿透自我。他用线条书写，却不为叙述某段故事，而是记录意识的运行轨迹，是对生命内在节律的可视化回应。
艺术家探索将传统技法与当代图像语言的可能性，将其转化为一种视觉上的心理呼吸。而后，在线、面、纹理中不断推演图像构建方式，使作品成为“时间雕刻”的结果—其中不少画作，均为间隔数年反复完成，带有时间沉淀后的痕迹与洞察。
艺术家的创作对深邃的蓝有着特殊的偏爱，自从在摩洛哥版画工作室驻留期间第一次接触当地蓝色的矿物颜料，便开启了全世界范围内收集原产地蓝色颜料的召集令，而后续的作品中，蓝色也成为主旋律。线条构建隐秘叙事，色彩触发情感共鸣。在作品中，我们看到的不仅是一位艺术家的创作成果，而是他与时间、文化、身体、技艺之间，持续进行的一场缓慢对话。这是一种“线”的哲学，是抵抗瞬间消费视觉的慢工之美，是在沉默中生成能量的艺术形态。
王索源的作品构成一部视觉《神曲》——从理性的炼狱，穿越沉默的净界，终将抵达寂静的彼岸......透过圆形画框所呈现的一幅幅画作，我们看到的不是宇宙本身，而是被圆形认知框架过滤后的存在幻象，观者在解码过程中完成自我的精神远征。
Based in France, a highland of Western culture and art, Chinese-French artist Wang Suoyuan thrives with the unique genetic attributes of Easterners. The result of this cultural collision is a distinctive fusion experience. Just like the unremitting explorations of earlier generations of artists who traveled abroad, Wang Suoyuan does not blindly pursue the expressive cognition brought by the so-called cultural conflict and fission. Instead, he returns to the ultimate issues of human shared emotions, thoughts, and aesthetic cognition.
In Wang Suoyuan's works, we can see that the cognitive boundaries of human beings in the universe — from microscopic particles to interstellar civilizations — are all enclosed in circular frames, becoming "mysterious samples" to be gazed at. Through the visual isomorphism of the microcosm and the macrocosm, these works construct an organic blue poetic universe. Each work seems independent, but in fact, they jointly interpret the rhythmic existence of life, energy, and matter in chaos.
Wang Suoyuan's creative style has the characteristics of Eastern writing, but his lines are never simple depictions or decorations. They are neither "form" nor "image", but a lasting penetration: penetrating time, penetrating memory, and penetrating the self. He writes with lines, but not to narrate a certain story, but to record the running track of consciousness, which is a visual response to the internal rhythm of life.
The artist explores the possibility of combining traditional techniques with contemporary image language, transforming them into a kind of visual psychological breath. Then, he constantly deduces the way of image construction in lines, surfaces, and textures, making the works the result of "time carving" — many of the paintings were completed repeatedly over intervals of several years, bearing the traces and insights after the precipitation of time.
The artist has a special preference for the profound blue in his creation. Since he first came into contact with local blue mineral pigments during his residency at a printmaking studio in Morocco, he has launched a global initiative to collect blue pigments from their places of origin, and blue has become the main theme in his subsequent works. Lines construct hidden narratives, and colors trigger emotional resonance. In the works, what we see is not only an artist's creative achievements, but also a slow dialogue he has been conducting with time, culture, body, and skills. This is a philosophy of "lines", the beauty of slow work against the instant consumption of vision, and an art form that generates energy in silence.
Wang Suoyuan's works form a visual Divine Comedy — from the purgatory of reason, through the silent purgatory, and finally reach the silent other shore... Through the paintings presented in the circular frames, what we see is not the universe itself, but the illusion of existence filtered by the circular cognitive framework. The viewers complete their own spiritual expedition in the process of decoding.
