Solo exhibition of Wies Joe: Induction Field

感应场是一个物理学概念，即以场源为中心的一个波长范围内，场源与客体之间产生紧密的相互作用。

“Induction field” is a concept in physics, i.e. within a wavelength range centred on a field source, there is a close interaction between the field source and the object.

For Qiao Xiangwei, the society is his induction field, and his works reveal a concern between the current context and his true self. When he expresses his lament about the irresistibility of the human individual in the social landscape with a free stance and an artistic language like that of the "contemporary pop hippies", it is not only an exclamation, but an attempt to launch an uncertain, implicitly searching revolt.

The dialogue between "the object and the self" in Qiao Xiangwei's works expresses the introspection and inner value reset of contemporary youth at this peak but lonely time of human. In the monstrous real world, the flow of time and social changes blur the relationship between the object and the self and the purity of the spiritual world, Qiao Xiangwei uses his unadulterated philosophical thoughts to pull out the long-sealed perseverance of mankind.

乔相伟STQ

1993年生于陕西西安，2017年毕业于西安美术学院油画系，同年发起嶠毃繪舘（TPH）视觉艺术厂牌，2020年于西安美术学院获得绘画硕士学位，现工作生活于西安。乔相伟的绘画作品多以波谱的绘画语言来表达社会与国际热点问题，他将流行视觉元素与生活息息相关的时间所结合，通过对个体的剖析来揭示时代的痕迹。他的作品曾参与“萧条与供给”-第三届南京国际美展主题展和“变调-第三届安仁双年展”。
