本场公益观影作为Qingdao Mandarin Club 九月环保系列活动的开篇，通过纪录片建立大家与海洋之间的情感联结，为后续9月12日（周六）海边净滩户外公益志愿实地活动和“变废为宝”垃圾/旧物改造手工艺术活动（暂定）做铺垫；同时促进在青中外友人、志愿者的交流合作。
